Every year we like to do something a little bit special for Christmas.
For 2024, we’re focusing on the simple act of being kind; sharing some joy and merriment to make the world a better, brighter place.
As part of this, we’re committing to support various good causes through our charitable donations and volunteering efforts.
One of the organisations benefitting is Brunswick Healthy Living Centre, a community hub in Leamington Spa that provides activities, services and resources to various groups. It offers health and wellbeing related sessions, support for things like bereavement, menopause and dementia, and IT courses and employment drop-ins – to name just a few examples.
We wanted to show some love to the centre, as it’s located close to our base in the heart of Leamington.
As such, colleagues at 44 have been as busy as Santa’s elves, filling boxes with goodies to gift to the centre to share with those in need. Donations have included everything from advent calendars and mugs filled with sweets and chocolates, to children’s toys, books and household items.
We’ve also been doing our bit for Save the Children UK with our annual Christmas lunch, where we donned our best/worst (delete as appropriate) festive jumpers while sharing a mix of homemade sweet and savoury snacks.
In addition, everyone at 44 has pledged their own individual act of kindness to help keep the spirit of Christmas kindness alive throughout December. Keep an eye out for more on this on our social channels, coming soon, and remember: it’s cool to be kind!
