The 44 Communications team in Halloween costume

Here at 44, we’re just dying to have fun! So, although Halloween was yesterday, it didn’t stop us transforming the office for some spooktacular celebrations today.

Project Manager Amie, our very own Queen of Halloween and ghost-ess with the mostess, organised a fang-tastic lunch and invited the team to bring in their creepiest cakes and goodies.

There was something for everyone. The sweet-toothed among us had the choice of ghoulishly gooey chocolate cake, pumpkin pie, eyeball brownies and not to mention an alarmingly realistic brain-cake. For the savoury inclined, there were spider crackers, a guacamole-vomiting pumpkin and a petrifying pasta dish to choose from.

The food might have been chilling, but the cause was not; the bake sale was in aid of Cancer Support UK. The charity provides practical and emotional support to people with cancer across the UK, during and after their treatment. Their services are delivered and designed by people who have experienced cancer themselves, to help the experiences of others.

Look out for an update soon on how much we raised, and bone-appetit all!
