We’re celebrating the recent launch of a new regular publication, Sizewell C View, to keep a growing workforce engaged and informed.
We’ve been working with the Sizewell C Communications team to help launch a brand-new on-site newspaper, Sizewell C View. The publication aims to keep everyone involved with the landmark construction in the know with key updates as the project progresses.
The new launch built on the success of sister publication, The Point, the newspaper for team members working at Hinkley Point C. In consultation with the Comms team and senior management, an entirely new design was developed, with content sourced from across the project. The focus was on sharing stories about work to engage local communities, highlighting sustainable activities and celebrating milestones and progress on site.
The first issue landed successfully in January.
Ben Walker, Senior Manager, Communications, said: “When the copies arrived at our locations, there was a real buzz. It looks great and thank you to the 44 team for everything you’ve done to get this first issue over the line. It’s a big moment for Sizewell C.”
Sizewell C View is the latest addition to our stable of print products, sitting alongside the award-winning The Point and On Track.
Nick Robbins, Account Director at 44 Communications, said: “It’s always a momentous day when we launch a new print product. Just as we get a thrill from receiving the copies, we know print is valued by colleagues too. Our research shows that print remains a vital channel for frontline and hard-to-reach employee populations. Not only as a news channel, but as part of building a united culture among sometimes disparate groups.”
We can’t wait to get stuck into the next issue of the quarterly publication.
