The challenge

Tarmac’s innovative One Card technology has revolutionised their management of contracted drivers. The industry-changing, smartcard technology replaced a clunky, paper-based system with a virtual database of driver records which allows drivers to simply swipe in and out of sites. It’s had a hugely positive impact on efficiency, driver safety and assurance. Keen to share One Card’s success at an international safety innovation conference in Amsterdam, Tarmac needed an engaging method of storytelling for a multinational audience.

The solution

The One Card technology is forward thinking, innovative and dynamic, and our approach needed to capture that essence. Our solution was video storytelling to bring One Card to life. We chose a fast-paced style and used GoPro footage to follow a driver’s journey and see One Card in action and demonstrating its benefits visually.

The results

The initial conference screening led to such a large number of enquiries that Tarmac has continued to use and promote the film longer term, both internally and externally. This great example of video storytelling has also been shown at international safety events, firmly positioning the company as leaders in innovation.
