National Grid showcase innovation at corporate event

What does the future hold for gas? That was the focus for the first ever Gas Innovation Showcase at Utility Week Live 2019, hosted by National Grid Gas Transmission alongside the UK’s other gas networks. With more than 3,000 senior professionals attending the corporate event, the team needed support with project management, social media planning, design and content.
We were embedded in National Grid’s Gas Transmission innovation team in the run up to the corporate event to co-ordinate the showcase planning. As well as stand logistics and design, we created teaser comms to build a buzz and worked to keep all the content consistent in tone and style. We were then on hand throughout to support the team and lead the social media content.
The event showed industry leaders the many ways in which the UK’s Gas Networks are working together to look ahead. Using thought leadership, it presented a focused and co-ordinated approach to innovating for the future. Innovation Delivery Manager, National Grid Gas Transmission, said: “We’ve built a strong relationship with 44 that really helped us to deliver the showcase, among other recent projects. 44 really understand our business and were able to adapt to whatever was thrown our way over the course of the project. I’m looking forward to our next corporate event!”
