Two of our projects have picked up top prizes at the Institute of Internal Communication (IoIC) National Awards.
On Track, our client publication for Siemens Mobility, was a new entrant and scooped ‘Best News Channel’. While EDF Energy’s The Point – no stranger to an IoIC accolade – clinched the ‘Best Writing’ award.
We were also runners up in two other categories: ‘Best New/Relaunched Channel’ for On Track and ‘Best Video’ for the Queen’s Jubilee and Notting Hill Carnival videos, recognising our collaboration with The Metropolitan Police.
Industry recognition
Speaking after the event, Tom Abbott, 44’s Managing Partner, said: “It’s always pleasing for us and our clients to be recognised by others in the industry for a job well done, or jobs well done in this case.
“We know that by following our values of Friendship, Awareness, Creativity, Excellence and Teamwork, we deliver top quality, impactful internal communications. It’s particularly pleasing to see two print publications getting nods as Class Winners.
“We’re proud of the work we continue to do with EDF and the team at Hinkley Point C and our relationship with Siemens Mobility that led to our newest print title, On Track.”
Creative solutions
The IoIC National Awards celebrate outstanding work from across the internal communications profession.
It was the second year in a row that Team 44 had ended the night with two top prizes, including now back-to-back ‘Best Writing’ awards. For more examples of how we’re bringing creative solutions to our clients, take a look at our case studies.
