As part of our commitment to social responsibility, we’ve once again teamed up with our friends at the Guide Dogs for the Blind training centre based here in Leamington Spa.
Three pups and their trainers called by to help us celebrate National Tea Day, and raise much-needed funds for the charity at the same time.
Dogs Diesel, Harper and Gracie were made to feel at home as team members flocked round, offering cuddles and sneaking selfies, while trainers Gemma, Cat and Chris spoke about how they help to develop each dog’s skills.
“It was fascinating to hear how dedicated each trainer is to their dog’s development, and everyone loved having the dogs in the office” said 44’s Elizabeth, who organised the event. “We learnt how different each pup’s personality can be, and how the trainers have to adapt to that – a good lesson for any team!”
Our tea party raised more than £140, which will help fund vital equipment (and treats) to help the pups’ progress.
Our pro bono work decorating the Leamington training centre became the first 44 Community project, demonstrating our commitment to social responsibility communications.
