Team 44 was thrilled to be named the UK’s Best Agency at the 2017 IoIC National Awards, after being nominated for the third time in four years.
The prestigious award, which recognises the best internal comms agencies from across the country, was announced at the Institute of Internal Communications (IoIC) National Awards at a ceremony in Park Lane, London in September.
It’s a highly-prized industry accolade that shows how far 44 has come since starting up back in 2007, and a credit to all of the team and partners who have helped to get us to where we are now.
“Given the high quality of our competitors across the country, it’s a fantastic achievement for everyone who works here at 44 (our people and partners alike).I couldn’t be more proud of this fantastic team!” said partner Corin Ashby, who founded the company a decade ago. “This is a big moment for us as a company as we celebrate our tenth anniversary. And hopefully it’s a sign of more great things to come as we work hard to create leading communications.”
In all 44 was shortlisted in nine award classes on the night – picking up Class winners in Best Newspaper for EDF Energy’s publication, The Point, and Best One-off Feature with Jay Marie Bailey, Transgender Lead for Carillion Services.
Double award-winning account director Gemma Houltby added: “Our feature on Jay Marie Bailey tells an amazing people story, she’s an incredibly inspiring human being who does a lot of good work inside, and outside, of Carillion. We’re so pleased, because we’ve won this award for her.”
