We’re on FEIEA!
The sumptuous Palazzo Altieri in Rome was the site of 44’s latest triumph, when Barclaycard’s employee magazine The Globe scooped two European awards.
The FEIEA Grand Prix, this year staged in the Italian capital, honours the best of the best internal communications work produced across the continent over the past 12 months.
A panel of European IC experts gave the magazine first prize in the Best Front Cover design category, and the image by our specialist portrait photography partner Debra Hurford-Brown (used on the cover shot) scooped the award for Best Photograph too.
In partnership with the Barclaycard Channels and Content team and fellow agency Write the Talk, 44 has won a string of honours in 2015 for its work on the new-look The Globe, which goes out to the business’s 11,000-strong global workforce.
The project has also featured as one of six IC best practice examples at the FEIEA Grand Prix event during a special ‘Meet the Winners’ workshop.
“To pick up two first place prizes at an international awards event like FEIEA is a great achievement for all the team behind The Globe,” said Phil Parrish, senior editor and account lead at 44. “We were up against some very tough competition and to come through three rounds of judging and emerge on top is fantastic. It’s a real testament to the creativity and hard work of the entire Globe team.”
FEIEA is the European Association of Internal Communication and this is the second consecutive year 44 has triumphed at the organisation’s Grand Prix, after working on a project with National Grid which won Best Photograph last year.
