Three’s the magic number for 44
There’s more reason for us to celebrate following the news that 44 has been shortlisted for the third year running at the FEIEA Grand Prix!
FEIEA, the European Association for Internal Communication, recognises the very best in IC across Europe, and we’re thrilled to have made it on to this year’s shortlist for Best Internal Magazine, for The Globe, Barclaycard’s employee magazine.
The Globe came out on top last year in the Best Front Cover category, and the image by our specialist photography partner Debra Hurford Brown (used on the cover) won the award for Best Photograph. In 2014, 44 also clinched the award for Best Photograph, which appeared in National Grid’s commemorative book Unprecedented.
“The issue which secured the nomination was a massive effort by the entire team,” said Phil Parrish, Senior Editor and Account Lead at 44. “It was 96 pages in total, with several change covers and a gold foil-block finish, designed to celebrate Barclaycard’s 50th anniversary.
“Everyone was thrilled with the end result and for it now to be recognised as one of the best employee magazines in Europe is terrific news. All the team involved in The Globe should be very proud.”
The awards will take place on Tuesday 29th November in Lisbon, Portugal – so keep an eye on our website for news and updates from the awards…
