Making the world better with a sweater
Mince pies and Mariah Carey aside, Christmas is traditionally a time of giving. With that in mind, we ‘jumper’ed at the chance to take part in Save the Children’s Christmas Jumper Day.
The whole team donned their best (or worst…) Christmas jumper to help raise more than £100 – a figure kindly matched by the company. The donation of more than £200 could buy bottled water and thermal blankets for 25 children in need this winter.
As well as the jumpers we enjoyed some tasty shortbread men (wearing mini-jumpers of their own!), had some fun with a festive photobooth and got excited about a raffle which we’ll draw at our Christmas party.
“It’s great to see everybody get behind such a great cause and we got to enjoy some wonderful woolly numbers while getting into the Christmas spirit,” said 44’s Hana Evans, who organised the event. “A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped spread some Christmas cheer.”
