A pawsome excuse to celebrate…
Following our community project with our local Guide Dog centre last year, we’re big fans of getting our paws dirty helping local charities.
Everyone at 44 got stuck in, donating cakes, biscuits and woofles to help raise more than £125 for the great cause – a figure matched by the company. The donation of more than £250 is plenty to buy a starter kit for a new guide dog owner, containing everything they need to start a life with their new guide dog.
“It’s so lovely to see everyone come together to support such a fantastic cause,” said 44’s Elizabeth Mullenger, who organised the event.
“We have enough home baking to keep the office going for weeks, and it was great to spend our lunch hour together doing something worthwhile. A huge thank you to everyone involved, and to Guide Dogs UK for the great work they do.”
