Double bubble for Simon Rutter
A GREAT NIGHT was had by all when 44 Communications attended the first UK ICon awards, organised by the Institute of Communication, after being shortlisted in three classes.
44 was nominated for Best Agency, while Anglo American’s Simon Rutter (pictured) was shortlisted for ‘Best Editor’ and ‘Rising Star’ classes for his work on the 44 publication, Our World.
“I’m extremely pleased for Simon,” said Corin Ashby, 44 client partner. “To be nominated for one people class is an achievement in itself, but two is fantastic!”
The champagne flowed as communicators from across Europe gathered at the prestigious Landmark Hotel in London to hear the winners announced.
Guest speakers included Bryn and Emma Parry, founders of the Help for Heroes charity, who were presented with the Institute’s Communicators of the Year title.
