From animation to accident reduction

THE CHALLENGE

Powerfully communicating good safety practice can be the difference between life or death. Yet for the 2 Sisters Food Group it’s no easy feat, especially when you consider its employee demographic: a workforce of 23,000 employees across the country speaking 42 different languages.

THE SOLUTION

The creative solution was simple – entertaining storytelling. Through a series of six fun animations, the 44 team created four characters that embodied both bad and good health and safety practice, visualised in a high-quality, memorable way to ensure the messages had maximum impact and universal appeal.

THE RESULTS

Since the animations were shown, there has been an overall drop in the number of accidents at 2 Sisters to the point where it is now below food industry average. The digital campaign also received an Award of Excellence at the recent IoIC Central and North Awards.
